Starbucks turns Winnie the Pooh's honey pots into a 20-piece collection

Honey-pot mugs, character-themed tumblers and miniature Bearista charms are turning Starbucks’ latest Disney collaboration into a collection designed to be carried, gifted and displayed. The 20-piece Winnie the Pooh range launched across nine Asia-Pacific markets on October 20, 2026.

Celebrating 100 years of Winnie the Pooh, the release draws on the Hundred Acre Wood’s gentle palette and familiar characters. Rather than introducing a themed beverage, Starbucks has translated the stories into objects for everyday coffee rituals.

In this article: Honey-inspired design, collectible accessories, and the regional rollout.

Honey pots become coffee cups

The visual anchor is a ceramic beehive mug, with rounded honeycomb-like ridges and warm golden tones. Clear cups and stainless-steel drinkware add playful Pooh illustrations, honey-themed accents and details inspired by the Hundred Acre Wood. The result is a coordinated range that feels like a miniature story world rather than a set of unrelated licensed products.

Starbucks says the collection comprises 20 limited-edition drinkware and lifestyle pieces. The products include tumblers, bottles and a reusable bag that folds into a matching pouch.

Bearista meets Pooh and friends

Collectibility extends beyond cups. Starbucks’ own Bearista mascot appears dressed as Winnie the Pooh, Piglet, Eeyore and Tigger on keychains and phone straps. Combining an established coffee-chain mascot with Disney characters gives the collaboration a recognizable identity from both brands.

These smaller accessories can accompany bags and phones, giving the collaboration visibility beyond the café counter. The range is also positioned for gifting, with friendship and shared moments providing the creative theme.

Where the collection is available

Starbucks announced an October 20 launch at participating coffeehouses in Australia, Indonesia, Malaysia, New Zealand, the Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam, while supplies last. Marketing-Interactive also reported availability through Starbucks Singapore’s LazMall store, with online sales beginning at noon on launch day.

The regional rollout follows other character and entertainment merchandise collaborations from Starbucks in Asia. The latest release makes the licensed object, not the drink, the principal attraction.

What marketers can learn from Starbucks’ Pooh collection

The design works because the intellectual property has been translated into the physical form of the products. Honey becomes the shape and surface treatment of a mug; Pooh’s friends become wearable Bearista accessories; a familiar story setting becomes a coordinated palette. This gives shoppers recognizable details to discover across multiple product formats.

The campaign illustrates how a legacy character can create fresh merchandise through thoughtful product design. Starbucks has not disclosed sales or engagement results for the launch, so its commercial impact remains unverified.
